Allergy & Immunology Physician – Full-Time and Per Diem Opportunities

Location: Burbank, California

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Allergists/Immunologists to join our growing team.

Position Highlights

  • Positions Available: Full-Time and per diem
  • Location: Burbank, California - a vibrant, close-knit community in the heart of Los Angeles.
  • Setting: Outpatient clinical practice with telemedicine practice in multiple states.
  • Schedule: Flexible schedule options, No hospital call or weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with allergic and immunologic conditions
  • Provide patient-centered care delivery
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in Allergy & Immunology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in California and open to applying for licensure in other states
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and commitment to quality care

Medical Assistants

AllergyDox, Los Angeles Food Allergy Institute, and HeyAllergy are all part of the same business, located in Burbank, California. We are a well-established Allergy & Immunology Clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong commitment to their career, enjoys working in a team environment, and has a passion for helping patients in the allergy field.

Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant in our clinic, you will work closely with both our providers and patients. You will be responsible for assisting with patient care, taking medical histories, managing medication refills, performing clinical and administrative duties, and ensuring smooth operations in the office. This position offers the opportunity for growth and potential promotion within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Take thorough medical histories and document accurately in the EHR system.
  • Administer allergy injections and assist with skin prick tests, intradermal testing, patch tests, food and drug challenges, custom medication mixing, and other allergy-related procedures.
  • Manage medication refills and patient inquiries.
  • Use Kareo/Tebra EHR system for patient documentation and scheduling.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and work closely with the team.
  • Perform office procedures and other clinical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • Experience in Allergy & Immunology is highly preferred.
  • A strong history of commitment to previous employers, with a track record of staying in roles for several years. We are specifically seeking candidates who are not constantly changing jobs and are looking for long-term stability and growth.
  • Commitment to at least two years with the company – we seek candidates who are ready to grow with the organization for the long term.
  • Proficiency in Kareo/Tebra EHR system and a solid understanding of how to use electronic health records for patient documentation.
  • Ability to take accurate medical histories and manage medication refills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Honest, reliable, and trustworthy with a commitment to patient care.
  • Ideally located within 10-20 miles of Burbank, CA, as we prefer local candidates for long-term stability.

Compensation: Range is $23-$28/hr based on prior experience.

Benefits: Retention bonus, paid vacation time, paid sick days, 401(k) plan, free parking, training will be provided.

  • Hours: 40 hours a week.
